La Tomatina de Buñol

Here are some useful details:

  • La Tomatina is held on the last Wednesday of August each year
  • Place: The town of Buñol in the Valencia region of Spain
  • Approximately 20,000–40,000 tomato fighters join the fun
  • Tomato fight is held in Buñol since 1944 or 1945, but no one knows how it all started
