Another advantage of these places is the home-cooked nature of the breakfast. You will not get food that has been cooked en mass and then served to hundreds of people at once. You will instead get freshly cooked food that tastes delicious and has the typical homely feeling about it.

Being locals themselves, staff is usually very knowledgeable about the locality and they would be able to give you insider information about a lot of things around the city.
